Learn from notification action context and wrong turns

An action lesson should preserve what a person expected before tapping and where the result diverged. Compare later event and role contexts with the original action table, then improve one review question about outcome, destination, state, or recovery without adding unnecessary controls.

Keep the lesson for the next incident

  1. Keep the action evidence

Record event, actor, resource, state, role, label, destination, permission, and resulting state. State the expected outcome. This keeps later copy work tied to the action a person needed, not just the button text.

  2. Compare later actions

Review another event state, role, stale target, and no-action notification after the change. Look for a generic label or destination that still loses context. Preserve a clear action as a control.

  3. Refine one action check

Require future reviews to state the outcome before tapping, test one changed state, and verify destination and recovery. Assign ownership and revisit date. Define the observation that would show the check reduced wrong turns without adding clutter.

What to carry forward

The learning record connects one action mismatch to later evidence and a repeatable outcome-and-destination check. Stop when the next reviewer can trace the action to its destination. Carry forward uncertainty where platform previews or role visibility constrain what can be tested.
