Check whether the outcome improved
Assert population fidelity
Run exports for empty, single, exact-boundary, and multi-page populations with documented filters and ordering. Compare expected and actual identifiers for missing, extra, repeated, and reordered rows. Include a changed source record when the export contract depends on a stable snapshot.
Check field serialization
Exercise null, zero, long text, delimiters, quotes, line breaks, Unicode, dates, numbers, and precision according to the file contract. Compare source values with parsed exported values and selected display text. Confirm truncation, defaults, and encoding outcomes are explicit.
Reconcile real-shaped output
Compare a bounded export with its source using the same parameters, revision, and generation time. Inspect every changed identifier, field, total, and order boundary. Retain file metadata, expected rows, and known source movement or format limitations with the verification result.
What to carry forward
Accept export fidelity when the intended population, identifiers, fields, values, ordering, and serialization rules agree within a documented snapshot. Keep verification open for moving inputs or unsupported formats. Report covered fields, boundary cases, source timing, and any intentional discrepancy.
Keep the decision with the work.
