Review this cycle and nearby work for recurring edges, artifacts, decisions, and ownership gaps. Distinguish a real domain ordering constraint from a pattern created by vague scope or an unrecorded decision.
Assess the break result
Look at downstream progress, reopenings, temporary workarounds, and residual waits after the break. Note whether the edge was truly removed or whether teams compensated without changing the underlying dependency. Compare whether the break removed the dependency or only shifted the waiting location.
Strengthen one dependency contract
Adopt one adjustment such as an interface owner, prerequisite evidence, scope split rule, decision checkpoint, or temporary-contract expiry. Assign an owner and define a future cycle observation to test it.
