Prioritize missing webhook topics

A missing topic can delay a state transition, while an unexpected topic can trigger work the receiver did not plan to handle. Prioritize by durable consequence and shared endpoint reach. Keep broad topic acceptance behind a documented event contract and safe disposition.

Decide where the work belongs

  1. Map workflow consequence

For each topic, record intended workflow, last delivery, current resource state, and whether omission or duplication is possible. Separate a display refresh from a billing, access, or reconciliation transition. Keep event identity with the queue item.

  2. Compare coverage remedies

Assess adding one topic, correcting a filter, mapping a renamed topic, rejecting an unsupported topic, or reviewing a missing event. Record owners, replay needs, and duplicate risks. Do not subscribe to every topic as a discovery shortcut.

  3. Set topic order

Queue missing state-changing topics and unexpected effect-bearing topics first, then shared route drift and display-only gaps. Set owner, fixture, review time, and evidence threshold. Keep a narrow endpoint change ahead of an unmeasured library-wide edit.

What to carry forward

Return a topic queue with workflow effect, configured and observed coverage, safe containment, owner, and acceptance proof. Escalate missing durable transitions. Keep rank provisional where subscription history or event meaning is incomplete. Attach the topic owner.

Keep the decision with the work.

Use a Work Item in Aglet to record the problem, the evidence you have, and the next decision. Add an owner and priority, then keep updates in the discussion so the next person can follow the reasoning.
