Check whether the outcome improved
Review question and method fit
For each question, state the observation or response that would answer it and the interpretation that would remain uncertain. Remove prompts that teach a solution. Confirm that the method is appropriate to behavior, experience, language, or comparison being studied.
Check participant coverage
Compare the recruitment plan with the users, edge contexts, access needs, and service roles named by the questions. Record gaps and exclusions. Ensure the planned tasks work for the people whose evidence the decision actually requires.
Set the decision review
Define how findings will be analyzed, shared, and used to choose a next step. Add an inconclusive outcome and a follow-up owner. Verify that the round is small enough to complete without sacrificing analysis quality.
What to carry forward
The verification record should link each question to a method, participant context, analysis plan, and decision review. Approve the round only for the evidence it can collect. Keep a follow-up when the sample or method cannot distinguish the leading explanations.
