Check whether the outcome improved
Check the routine path
Review a nonurgent event and confirm its channel, label, history, and lack of interruption match the stated promise. Record that it remains discoverable. Do not promote it solely because the team wants faster attention.
Check the urgent path
Exercise an event whose consequence changes with delay and verify label, action, destination, and recovery. Confirm the event still makes sense when a person opens it later. Keep the exact urgency condition attached to the test.
Review user control
Inspect settings, scheduled delivery, badge or in-app status, and narrow copy. State tested platforms and omitted behaviors. Leave a partial pass if interruption presentation is platform-controlled or if recovery evidence remains incomplete.
What to carry forward
Verification passes when routine and time-sensitive events receive proportionate treatment, remain discoverable, and explain the consequence of waiting. If platform or preference behavior is untested, document it. An urgent label without a time-bound consequence is not a passing result.

Keep the decision with the work.
Use a Work Item in Aglet to record the problem, the evidence you have, and the next decision. Add an owner and priority, then keep updates in the discussion so the next person can follow the reasoning.
