Check whether the outcome improved
Check the label choice
Open settings and select each scoped channel. Confirm the label, example, timing, and saved state make the resulting event predictable. Record a channel that remains unavailable or permission controlled instead of implying guaranteed delivery.
Check the event outcome
Follow a representative event through in-app or available delivery and compare location, timing, and copy with the setting. Mute and re-enable it. Keep a channel behavior difference visible when the platform controls the final presentation.
Review copy hierarchy
Inspect help text, confirmation, status, narrow wrapping, and navigation return. State tested channels and events. Leave a partial pass when actual external delivery or platform settings cannot be observed directly.
What to carry forward
Verification passes when labels, examples, saved choices, and observed outcomes agree within the documented channel boundary. If a platform or event type is untested, state it. Clear copy cannot compensate for a channel that behaves differently than the settings promise.
