Keep the lesson for the next incident
Keep the status evidence
Record event, local state, channel, attempt, retry, confirmation, timestamp, in-app record, copy, and action. State what the person could know. This prevents operational detail from becoming an unhelpful user promise.
Compare later retries
Review accepted, queued, retried, failed, and confirmed paths after the change. Look for a status that still invites duplicate action or an event that disappears from history. Preserve a clear success control.
Refine one status check
Require future reviews to separate event and channel state, show last known time, and test one safe recovery. Assign ownership and revisit date. Define the observation that would show the check reduced repeated user actions without overstating delivery.
What to carry forward
The learning record connects one retry-status misunderstanding to later evidence and a repeatable event-versus-channel check. Stop when another reviewer can apply it to a new delivery path. Carry forward uncertainty where confirmation depends on a platform or provider outside observation.

Keep the decision with the work.
Use a Work Item in Aglet to record the problem, the evidence you have, and the next decision. Add an owner and priority, then keep updates in the discussion so the next person can follow the reasoning.
