Check whether the outcome improved
Check membership and counts
Compare the grouped references with the source search that produced them. Confirm every included entry belongs to the same project and customer outcome, and reconcile report and account counts. Investigate gaps caused by unavailable content, time windows, or channel-specific retention.
Review representative coverage
Select representatives across channels, versions, severity levels, and customer contexts rather than choosing only the clearest message. Confirm each representative supports the shared outcome and that no outlier silently changes the grouping boundary.
Exercise the closure rule
Apply the documented closure rule to the grouped record and its exceptions. Check that the queue view still exposes evidence links, current ownership, and the next review trigger. If a check fails, reopen the grouping decision instead of closing the underlying requests.
What to carry forward
Verification is complete when counts reconcile, representatives cover meaningful variation, exceptions have owners, and the closure rule produces the expected visible state. If any source cannot be checked, retain the group as provisional and name the missing evidence rather than implying certainty.
Keep the decision with the work.
Use a Work Item in Aglet to record the problem, the evidence you have, and the next decision. Add an owner and priority, then keep updates in the discussion so the next person can follow the reasoning.
